In 2008, the Midwest Surgical Hospital opened the doors to its patient-centered facility. The Hospital offers surgical suites designed to the specifications of our physicians so that they can operate in the safest, most efficient setting possible.
Our physicians and staff take quality and patient care very seriously. Licensed as an acute care hospital by the State of Nebraska, Midwest Surgical Hospital is fully accredited by The Centers for Improvement of Healthcare Quality (CIHQ).
The hospital is also licensed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. This means the hospital is able to provide care for individuals who participate in these government sponsored programs.
As a prospective patient of Midwest Surgical Hospital, we want to inform you of the following:
Disclosure of Ownership
Midwest Surgical Hospital is partially owned by physicians and meets the federal definition of a physician owned hospital as specified in 42 CFR 489.3.
You have the right to choose the provider of your health care services. Therefore, you have the option to use a health care facility other than the Midwest Surgical Hospital.
You will not be treated differently by your physician if you choose to use a different facility. If desired, your physician can provide information about alternative providers.
Midwest Surgical Hospital meets the definition of a “physician-owned hospital” under 42 CFR 489.3.
